‘Kezilas Constructions - 'Quality team - Quality building’

Remodeling and Extending

This remodelled Brisbane residence was large to begin with and included three bedrooms with an attached low-set servants ‘quarter. The home had to be extended and remodelled to accommodate a family of five, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms added to the upper level. Architectural firm Milan Tucek and builder George Kezilas was brought in to tackle the task and ensure the family had all the room it needed to grow. Much work went into analysing the existing building structure and services before planning the alterations and extensions.

Charming Queenslander

Alongside the charming Queenslander renovations that dot the urban landscape, a modern take has emerged that takes smart design to a new level. As individual as the owner, this nouveau Queenslander is a stylish celebration of our climate and outdoor lifestyle. Positioned on an elevated block in a leafy Brisbane suburb, dramatic roof angles, lots of light, open plan living and a unique courtyard make this ideal Queensland home. Designed and built with clever yet simple solutions to the problem of limited space on a small inner suburban block it is more than a little inspiring.

Brunner had previously designed a number of venues for Brisbane club barons, the Katarzyna Group, including Empire Hotel, Press club, Bunk Backpackers, and Family. (Builder George Kezilas.)
